About the Author

Laurel Bar and Judith Galluzzo are registered occupational therapists and co-owners of Barrier Free Resources with more than 25 years of experience each. They have served as consultants for the City of Iowa City housing rehabilitation programs and have published articles on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Universal Design, and designing for individuals with disabilities. In recognition of their work in the field they were invited to the White House to witness the signing into law of the ADA.

Our school was doing alot of revonations. This made it easy for everyone involved to know how and why to make things handicap accessible. Easy to follow with Bandit the dog leading the way!
