I recently purchased a round wood incense burner. It was just okay. It was difficult to insert the incense sticks. When I saw the Tibetan Incense Burner on Amazon, I purchased one for a gift. I was so impressed with the quality that I then purchased a second for myself. It holds the incense sticks with ease. It is a nice weight, size and design. Couldn't be happier!

Super Nice!,

I have been really pleased with this. Some stand up incense burners I've used sometimes the hole is to big causing the stick to be un-sturdy and the ashes make a big mess, but not so with this one. Really a very good design!

My cat took offense to my previous incense burner and knocked it off my dresser, breaking it and putting me in the market for something durable. I am very happy with the nice quality of this burner and its ability to hold an incense stick tightly and to catch all the ash, not just some of the ash like other burners. It looks stylish, is designed well and it has survived my cat without any nicks or breaks.

No hole in middle when you order from Everest Bazaar,

Do not purchase this item from Everest Bazaar if you were looking for the hole in the middle. I purchased this item mainly for the hole in the middle, but the one I received only had the 4 holes around the border pattern. I returned it specifically stating that it did not have a hole in the middle and that there were only 4 holes and not 5, but when i got the replacement it was identical with only 4 holes. Extremely Disappointed, when you use the outer holes the ash does not stay on the dish half the time making this almost completely useless. Beside the missing hole, this thing looks great.

I agree with all the other 5 star reviews. This incense holder / tray is just what I was looking for. It appears larger in the Amazon photo (at least to me) and I expected a 5" or 6" sized tray. The product description does clearly note it is 3 3/4" in size ..and so it is...I am adding a photo to the product description compared to a $10 US bill for scale. I can say the holder is not as wide as a US currency bill is long. I have burned a dozen or more sticks and always the ash has fallen within the tray. On longer store-bought common incense I have trimmed the wooden stick portion down to an inch or so. Some thicker sticks will need to be cut at an angle when trimmed to allow them to fit in the hole(s) provided. The stickers on the bottom of my tray said "made in China" and "made with recycled aluminum" I like that. This tray is a beautiful piece and as such rightfully should claim a spot in anyone's decor. I have found that unlike horizontal or upside down burning this upright perpendicular mounting prolongs the burn time. My Nag Champa sticks last over an hour. You will be very pleased. This incense holder will bring you happiness.

I have been looking for a nice incense burner. The incense burner is esthetically pleasing; has 5 holes for burning more than one stick should you wish; the holes are nicely sized and seem to fit all normal stick incense. The label indicates that it is made from recycled aluminum - a good thing! Nice product.

Best in its Class!!!,

I was pretty burned out on these dish-style incense holders from previous experiences and got online looking for the more conventional boat-style holder/burner instead. This one caught my attention just on the basis of how good it looked and I read every customer review very carefully. People were unanimously glowing over this little incense burner so I decided to try it one last time. Man was I amazed to see it not only lives up to its reputation on Amazon but actually surpasses it! The product description didn't make it clear that it is made from recycled aluminum which was an added bonus in my book. They've done an excellent job with this little dish burner. It looks great and holds the incense sticks perfectly upright and catches all the ashes just as it should. You can burn up to 5 sticks at once if you like. This is the one folks...the absolute best little burner in its class!!!
I couldn't be happier and plan to buy up a few more as Christmas presents if I can resist the urge to keep them for myself! Boat-style burners have their place but this dish-style burner sets off any incense altar table with intelligence and flawless functionality. Thanks for all the reviews folks - you weren't exaggerating a bit.

This holder is just as beautiful in person. It has 5 slots (I believe) for the incense and holds them very well. Not hard to clean and matches very nicely with the colors in the room.

Would have given a 5 star BUT, the circumference needs to be larger in order to fully capture all the ash of a Satya Nag Champa stick. There are five holes, and the incense fits fine. You can really only burn a stick in the middle hole because the ash will not be captured on the plate and even then, the skinnier sticks tend to lean a bit, hence the ash issue. I feel this could have been resolved by making the diameter 1/2 inch larger. I would not buy another one, but I wouldn't return this one either.
