5.0 out of 5 stars A FM Transmitter that finally works well
The GoGroove Car mount/FM transmitter is working much better than other FM transmitters I have tried in the past. The advanced FM transmitter can block out weak FM signals and prevents hissing between songs that I experienced with other FM transmitters. This is a great product as long as the rubberized disk on the plug holds up. The rubberized disk may be a known...

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money!
Bought this FM transmitter after some online blogs few months ago for my iPhone 3G. I thought it came with a 3-year warranty so it wouldn't be too bad even if something went wrong. It turned out everything went wrong. The product was ok to begin with. I managed to get a couple relatively clean channels and used it for about a couple months. Then the transmitter started...

The advanced FM transmitter can block out weak FM signals and prevents hissing between songs that I experienced with other FM transmitters. This is a great product as long as the rubberized disk on the plug holds up. The rubberized disk may be a known problem area, since they included a spare disk with the system. Yes, I would recommend this product to other people!

Then the transmitter started producing pretty bad static noise and eventually gave up (no longer in sync with the radio and would not even charge the phone).
Now the worst part, their customer service is NON-EXISTANT. I filled their online forums 3 times in past two weeks but nothing came back from them. Apparently they don't care about their customers. I finally fed up and threw this piece of crap into garbage can. My advice to you, the potential buyers, forget about buying this thing online, try local Best Buy and pay little extra for something else, you have much better chance.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very Poor Design, January 4, 2011
This review is from: Accessory Power iPod and iPhone All in One Car Kit Cradle with FM Transmitter (Electronics)
This product fails in the most basic way. It will not stay upright (falls to one side or the other) and does not fit into the space available for it without being hit by the stick on my Civic; one of the most popular cars on the road. Do not waste your money on this product!

1.0 out of 5 stars Near worthless, September 22, 2010

Does not stay upright. Constantly falls to one side or the other and I did not even trim away any of the rubber around the power adapter that is intended to hold the thing upright. If your looking for something to hold your iPhone in place in your car, this is not it.

3.0 out of 5 stars great concept, mediocre execution, July 26, 2010

If the jaws were wide enough to accommodate the phone with a cover on it, and
the stand stayed firmly in the power outlet, this would be a completely different
review. As it is, during normal driving, the phone flops around and will not stay
put. You can also forget about making any adjustments after the initial placement.
I had very high hopes, but was disappointed to find that it misses the mark.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't trust other reviews!!, June 20, 2010

This is a product I read many a review about. 90% said product was excellent. Should not have believed them. This product has just been awful. It lacks directions for use and falls over all the time when I take a corner. The first one I got was so bad it seemed like there was something wrong so I called the shipper. They were great and sent me a new one with apologies. Trouble was that it was the machine itself. disappointed that I read so many reviews that were just plain wrong about the product. It is like they never used it before reviewing it. What a waste!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great product! Had trouble keeping it in the 12V, May 14, 2010

This item is fantastic! It works off the headphone jack so it can work with iPhones. The charger runs separate from the transmitter also, meaning to don't have to play to charge/ vice versa. It fits all sizes from an iPod nano up to my fat iPod classic even with a hard case on it. My ONLY ISSUE is that I've had trouble keeping it in the 12V in my car every now and then, BUT my 12V sits at a downward angle, so I can't really complain. As long as your 12V sits level or points upward, you'll be fine. Highly recommended, especially for the price!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Good for the quick fix, April 23, 2010

This review is from: Accessory Power iPod and iPhone All in One Car Kit Cradle with FM Transmitter (Electronics)
Great easy product to use. No instructions so you have to figure it out on your own.

Cons are that after a few time of readjusting, everything becomes loose and won't stay where you put it. Also after playing for a while, the back where the transmitter is tends to heat up and malfunctions by making your iPhone revert back to as if it is using headphones, and you are unable to move the volume bar. Simple fix is to unplug everything, let it cool down, then plug it back in.

All else fails, it works as a car charger for your iPhone/Pod, or any USB powered devices.

Some 12-volt plugs in the car hold this better than others.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good but,...., February 7, 2010

The concept is good. There are a few design flaws and as someone who has designed things before I find it painful to tell someone there is flaws. The soft washer/ring-thingy that is meant to stabilize the unit gets caught in the holes in most of the vehicle power adapters I have plugged it into. As it comes out, it tears off parts of the ring leaving a need for a new ring (or a re-thinking of the part). The FM transmitter works about as well as any of them on the market (which is not good). I re-soldered the headphone jack so that instead of the original function, now it is an audio out to plug into the Aux jack in my car stereo. This worked well. The blue light that is great for verification that the power connection but it is too bright for the night. It would be nicer if the neck was more flexible and 3 inches longer. Lastly, the ribber on the clamp that keeps the phone in the cradle is too hard. I had to score the pads to make them softer/more flexible. Otherwise the clamp did not go tight enough to keep the iPhone in place. Truth hurts but maybe it will make the product better. I still like it and I would still recommend it. [...]

This device has a humming noise no matter what car Ive tested it in. I like the idea, but it is very poorly made.
