Dealing with death is never easy.,

This review is from: Accident (Turtleback)
And it's even worse when you may have had some part in causing it. The main character (a young boy) takes his beloved dog out for a walk in the country. The dog is hit and killed by a car. How will the main character deal with his beloved dog's death? How will he overcome his own guilt in the matter? While this book could have taken a firmer stance against allowing dogs to run unrestrained, it is still a touching story that literally moved this dog-lover to tears. This story would be a great way to broach the subject of death with a young person.
