This review is from: The Accidental Airline: Spilsbury's QCA (Spilsbury Saga) (Paperback)
I liked the Mr. Spilsbury's story primarily because I'm a pilot and a boater who cruises the areas described in this book every summer. I'm not sure how a non pilot from another area would like it. Before you read this book you should read "Spilsbury's Coast", it's Mr. Spilsbury's life from birth until the beginning of this book, and covers the formation of his radio company.
I think anyone interested in the early days of commercial flying, two-way radio or the British Columbia coast/inside passage will enjoy this biographical series. |
