Most Excellent Outlaw,
By Jillian Grover (Louisville, Kentucky) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Accidental Outlaw (Paperback)
Man, does Chess Cates get into trouble or what? He just went to the bank and bam, he gets murder AND bank robbery pinned on him. In dire straights, he heads for the legendary South Pass found on the Oregon Trail and meets up with one dilly of a female. The Irish lass is gutsy and I imagine the Accidental Outlaw is one handsome amigo. I love this book! It is a great summertime read.

Western Roundup,
By G. Madison (San Francisco, CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Accidental Outlaw (Paperback)
I was transported back to the days of cowboys and Indians. With wagons and Irish emigrants, good guys-bad guys, the Cheyenne Indians, and the Civil War raging on in battleground states, this story takes us along with a man who was "accidentally" forced into being an outlaw. His life is in danger from the real outlaw and his life changes dramatically when he meets up with the fiesty Irish gal from Dublin. I truly enjoyed this tale of the old west. I recommend it to anyone who likes this genre of the western. Go west, young men and women! Go west with this novel and have a good time.

Old West Charm,
By Shelley D. (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Accidental Outlaw (Paperback)
I like both western books and movies. This is a very engaging tale of a man who "accidentally" becomes an outlaw and his incredible struggle to survive what happens to him. Along the way he encounters a lifesaver in the young pregnant widow. The real outlaw is pond scum and you hope and pray he gets his just reward. I love this book! It's a fun read. Buy it as soon as you can and have a great time in the old west.

Reminds Me Of John Wayne Stuff,
By A Customer
This review is from: Accidental Outlaw (Paperback)
With the Oregon Trail and Cheyenne Indians, the Civil War and descriptions of wild west landscapes, I felt like I was reading a script for a John Wayne movie. The characters are richly entertaining. The bits of humor are delighting. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I read it twice. I would like to see the further adventures of Accidental Outlaw Chess Cates. Imagine what he could get into next! Write more for us, Ms. Weston. We're eagerly awaiting the next book.
