About the Author

Clifford E. Knapp is a professor in the Curriculum & Instruction Department in the College of Education at Northern Illinois University. For the past 37 years, he has been an elementary, junior high, and high school teacher as well as a teacher educator. He has a special interest in teaching environmental ethics and has developed a graduate course that focuses on this topic.
