Book Description

In the sequel to Significance, Maggie learns much more about all the strange things that have happened to her and has to face many new ones. She learns something about herself, that she is something that the clans have been waiting for.

She rebels against it, but ultimately must face it for her new family's sake and maybe even her life. Bish went from being her biggest supporter to her biggest pain in the butt and Kyle's intentions to attract her interest may not be so innocent.

Caleb and Maggie face many new obstacles together as a couple and on their own. They fight to work through them, but will one that should be a good thing be too much for Maggie to handle? Will she become who she has to be to save the ones she loves or will she crumble under the pressure as this epic love story continues.

1)I've never made a review but I hope you find this helpful!
2)I don't believe in spoilers so you don't have to worry about those in here:)

If you've read Significance (or even any of the Collide books) then you already know that Shelly Crane is an AMAZING writer!Accordance will NOT disappoint. It's as good,or even better, than Significance.
In Accordance we begin Caleb & Maggie's journey. We learn all about Imprinting and all that other good stuff. In Accordance,we continue their journey & learn even more about the Ace's history. Also,I'm happy to say that this book most def has all that lovey dovey stuff that girl's loveeeeee. This book has action, mystery, love, hate && most importantly, stresses the importance of family.Basically this book has it all! Can't wait till Defiance comes out!:)

WARNING:WILL KEEP YOU UP ALL NIGHT!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best YA Paranormal Romance--better than Twilight! September 23, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
Do you know that feeling when you get a book and you just know you are in for an awesome story and can't wait another minute to start? Accordance is that book. I so thoroughly enjoyed this book that I couldn't put it down and didn't want the page count to dwindle. This will definitely be on the keeper shelf and be re-read.

Accordance continues the Significance series by Shelly Crane. If you haven't read Significance, you need to stop right now and go read it. This series is a beautiful love story between two soulmates, Maggie and Caleb. Ms. Crane has a wonderful voice that describes the best love story since Bella and Edward. Her writing weaves such a vivid romance that you can touch the love and your heart will flutter right along with Maggie and Caleb

Maggie and Caleb are hiding out at the beach house with their unwelcome chaperones, Bish and Kyle. Bish is so protective of Maggie and knows that she and Caleb are hiding something from him. He is like a bad penny always turning up with they don't need him and interupting at the worst possible moments. Caleb and Maggie take their interuptions and chaperones in stride. But while at the Beach, Maggie learns her purpose and role in the Jacobsen clan. She begins to really understand her role as a seer and begins to have visions. Some of her visions include answers to the imprinting struggles and how to get the Aces back to the proud race that they should be. Caleb is her rock and her protector. Together they will stand and fight the evil that threatens to choke the clans of their imprints and abilities. This book is the perfect blend of action, obstacles, and heart pounding romance.

I can't express how wonderful Ms.

I really like this series, but really nothing, as far as action, happens in this book. Maggie, Caleb, Bish and Kyle are still in California when Maggie gets another "power" and runs away for awhile, causing Caleb to call his family with worry and Peter, Rachel, Jen and Maggie's Dad flying out to join the gang in California. Maggie is now the Visionary and can see vision of future events when others touch her. The Visionary is like royalty to the Aces and Maggie has to deal with the new adoration. Kyle is still making her life rough with his constant jealousy and declarations of love and Bish is upset that Caleb and Maggie are sleeping together, not knowing Maggie needs Caleb's protection from Echoes. He knows something is going on and resents Caleb for taking over his protective role in Maggie's life. Maggie is overwhelmed by everyone's thoughts and attitudes towards her and learning to use her new powers. She is thankful for Caleb's soothing presence, even though he still doesn't have his "abilities" yet.

Most of the action happens in the last several pages, typical of a middle book. Despite nothing really happening, it was an interesting story and fun to see characters you learned to love in the first book. SERIOUSLY, if grammar errors and misspelled words bother you to the point you can't enjoy the story, stay away from this one. I never take off stars for grammar, just warning those that do.

I am looking forward to the next installment do out in spring 2012.

Would I/Did I buy it? Yes (2.99)
Would I listen/read it again? Yes, for review before the next one comes out
Would I recommend it to friends? Yes

2.0 out of 5 stars Tragic October 25, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I was thoroughly engrossed in this and the Significance books. I could not put them down. I was one of the ones gripped by the story enough that I was up most of the night reading "just one more chapter."

The tragedy of these books is the copyrighting and editing. How is it that whenever she says "ever" it's written as "every?" I can ignore a typo every once in a while especially for a free or $0.99 book, but when the words their, there, and they're are regularly used interchangeably I can't help but think some school teacher is turning over in her grave.

While I was consumed by these books but now that I'm finished, I feel kind of disgusted with myself for enduring the atrocious editing, formatting, and copyrighting. There really should be some kind of quality control for books sold on Amazon. If there were, this one wouldn't have made it.

The real tragedy of this series is that it's a good storyline with likeable characters. On enjoyment alone, I would give it a 4 stars, but the formatting and editing slashed that rating to bits. I loved reading it, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Unless these books get better editing, I for one, will not be back.
