Unreadable,
This review is from: An Account of Corsica; The Journal of a Tour to That Island and Memoirs of Pascal Paoli (Paperback)
This is an essentially useless text produced by an optical scanning process that ends up manufacturing gibberish. The "look inside" function turns out to be a bait and switch. You are shown the insides of a proper Oxford University Press edition of Boswell's Account of Corsica although that is not what you get. (There is a disclaimer that says you are looking at the hardcover edition, but there is no explanation that this book is produced by a scanning process that makes it worthless.) If you really need this book, you will have to buy the hardcover edition. It is expensive, but you get a book you can read, rather than an odd collection of words, symbols and slash marks.

problem text,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: An Account of Corsica; The Journal of a Tour to That Island and Memoirs of Pascal Paoli (Paperback)
In an effort to reproduce an 18th century text, the scanning of unfamiliar fonts produces nonsense. Save yourself the problem on returning this item and avoid it.
