This review is from: A Full and True Account of the Wonderful Mission of Earl Lavender, Which Lasted One Night and One Day: With a History of the Pursuit of Earl Lavender and Lord Brumm by Mrs Scamler and Maud Emblem (Paperback)
In the grand scheme of things, the literature of the 1890s has a cultural weight that the modest means and ambitions of it writers cannot bare. If you like it, you like it and if you like it this is a welcome edition to your library. The book can actually be read without the worry of damaging a valuable first edition. The book itself? If you like Wise Blood by Flannery O'Conner you'll like this. It's a good book. Read it.
