I paid $240 for this set at my college book store (came with the book & the workbook, as well as the wiley plus registration)

I don't know about the other reviewers, but my main book came all in loose leaf pages that you add to a binder. I understand why they did this, because this book is used for ACC 101 & ACC 102, (so it's really $120 per semester kinda) and this way you are able to divide the book in half basically and only take what you need for the semester (or even just the single chapter if you don't want to carry as much).I was disappointed though because they did not provide a binder to put the pages in, and on top of that, when I put them in a binder I had purchased myself, the pages ripped so easily! I mean just turning a page- the holes would rip. Do you know how many reinforcements I would have to go through to fix every page that ripped? It makes it almost impossible to trade the book back in (not that I'd want to, because it's very in depth and useful.. but just saying). This is because the pages are SO thin. I just don't understand how textbooks can be so expensive, yet so poorly made.

I use this textbook in my accounting class. I have a hard copy provided by the publishing company in office. Because it is too bulky and heavy to carry, I have bought a kindle version to read it at home.

Unfortunatly, the kindle version is completely useless. The hard copy includes a lot of pictures and tables to present journal entries and financial statements. However, all those illustrations do not appear in the kindle version. The kindle version shows only texts and the titles of illustrations. It is obvious that amazon.com and the publishing company have never compared the kindle version to the hard copy.

All the positive reviews presented above are based on a hard copy version. Never buy the kindle version!

It's a very comprehensive, but its disappointing they don't provide the answers to the questions in this book. It would be helpful for all the tedious assignments in it that the professors ask us to complete.

Was afraid when they said it's used, but when I received it,,,, it was totally new. Will for sure come back and buy some more when needed.

I was very happy buying this book used from Amazon. I paid about $60 for a book that would have cost me about $150-$200. It was in good usable condition. There was some highlighting in this book and by no means did it look new but, it has served it's purpose. The book arrived in time for my course. I was all around pleased with the purchase.

Great accounting textbook. Very detailed and accurate description of basic accounting practices... The exercises in the book are great. I had no problem with my introduction to accounting course using this textbook over 12 days! YES, it is so great you can master an Introduction to Accounting course in 12 days using this text!

I must say that I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED upon receiving this Accounting Principles textbook. When I got the book, I found it to completely torn up as if a dog had gotten to it. All four out of four corners had been torn and the hinge also appeared to be torn as-well. I do not plan on ordering another product from this seller and would be glad if he offered a return policy.

very courteous service. fast shipping. Although some of the pages were out of the binders, it was very nice of the seller to notify me ahead of time that the book is not bound but are in separate pages. points for that kind of services!!!
