I used this book for a class and love it. It is very easy to use with plenty of pictures and charts demonstrating how things are done. It is bery descriptive and an excellent buy if you want to learn basic skills before you get into Accouting classes.

Any books covering a heavy topic like accounting must be entertaining, informative and layed out properly so that the reader can follow along without too many problems. This book does all that and more, by providing real-life examples and lots of information regarding the application of accounting. Good shipping & great price directly from amazon.

Great book. Get the study Guide too, it's a big help. Also, the publishers website has quizzes you can take for each chapter. Both helped me a lot when it came to test time.

I am using this book now for my accounting II class. I have done the first semester completely on my own using this book and took all the tests that were given to students just out of curiosity. I have scored over 97% each time. This semester I am taking this class as independent study showing up for only exams. I have done just as well taking 1/3 of the time to finish the exams. The chapters explain things very clearly. I love the demonstration problems workout out, and there are plenty of problems to do at the end of the chapter. I usually do all of them up to Problem Set B. Problem Set B is pretty much the same as Set A. By the time I am half way done with problems A, I know the material so well, I can do it in my sleep. I bought a used book so I never had a chance to check out the CD and do the tests online. It worked fine for me without all this extra stuff. I will be studying Intermediate accounting on my own with my choice of book. I will surely look into a book written by the same authors.

This book is very comprehensive and helpful to a student of accounting. It employs excellent examples and detailed exercises to reinforce the material covered in the book.

Fantastic introductory accounting book. Goes into more detail than the professor is likely to cover in an introductory course. Key topic: Cash flow.

Because it was a forced read, I didn't necessarily snuggle up to it each night. After my Accounting class ended, I kept it to refer back to for my business purposes and it is a helpful reference.

I purchase this book and it came in excellent conditions, just like new. I will keep on buying form Amazon and I recomend everyone I know to do so!!

I need just two accounting classes to get a bacholor's degree and to take them on campus at my college it would take a year and a half so I thought I would take them by correspondence and rip right through them.
I bought this book as was required and then found out that it didn't include "e-grade" or the cd-rom. It came shrink wrapped and with that useless Pepsico report but I can't take the class without "egrade" so it's nearly worthless. So far this book has just sat around while I look forward to someday graduating if ever I can get started on the 1st accounting class.
