If you need help with QuickBooks or QuickBooks Pro this book is excellent! It is easy to follow with step by step instructions & practical examples to help you fully understand. I keep this book at my desk and refer to it anytime I need a little help with QuickBooks. Thanks for a book that helps even a novice like myself!

I found this book to be rather poorly organized and also not well written. I had a hard time finding my way around in the book. This is definitely not the only book a beginner will need in order to understand QuickBooks from an accounting perspective. There were just too many holes and too much that was unclear. I also found the writing disappointing and wondered if better editing would have helped. In general, this appeared to be a sort of home-made book. Sorry, but that's my impression. I have found it to be of little use compared to learning tools purchased directly from the manufacturer.

I found this book is more helpful and practical for people who already have some computer accounting background than for these who hope to gain in-depth Quickbooks knowledge. After three years of using Quickbooks Pro, I finally got rid of my previous study book that was 500 pages long and bought this one as my desk reference. Even though, as some poeple said, this book is nothing new and in most part a rewrite of the users' mannual, it is still a new book with a significant contribution from the author that makes it different--concise, simple, and handy!

Sorry but this was just a rewrite of Quickbooks Manuels. No new info here. Save your money just read what comes with the program and save your money for premium support which can answer any questions in seconds.

I have accounting degree from four year college, so you might have some credit on my opinion.
Simply this book is too too too brief. It has little over 200 pages with big font and big margin. Quickbooks is big program and simply 200 pages can have only a bit of it.
I am currently working at small company and with this book I couldn't solve anything. I just wasted my money.

We purchased "Accounting with QuickBooks" and love it. Our company has used Quickbooks Pro for 5 years, and we are finally(after purchasing this book)resolving problems we've had for years. It has been a lifesaver!

In starting our new business, the book "Accounting with Quickbooks and Quickbooks Pro" has really helped our consulting firm to set up our corporate books. It has really simplified the process. Thanks for this necessary guide, which all business owners should have for a reference. It is very well written and layed out for easy access. Great book...

...trying to learn how to use my new business software by utilizing just the little help paragraphs. "FORGET IT!" I screamed. "I need a book!" So I went to my favorite book store, Amazon.com, and couldn't find any books listed under QuickBooks. Finally, after shopping with the same "nothing" over at a couple of other places...I came back to Amazon. Sure enough, books on the subject (not software)were here all the time under a different subject search. I'm really glad that I found this book, though, it is helping me tremendously.
