I gave this to my boss because she was constantly being pestered by everyone with all sorts of questions about when this would be done, why isn't that done, etc. (She was very efficient and the folks bugging her about stuff had serious time management issues of their own.) My boss was very brazen about using it. When someone would come in that was a constant source of problems, she would simply hand this to him/her and say, "pick one." The person would turn it over, read the excuse and crack up laughing. This actually turned out to be an "ice breaker" of sorts: it allowed my boss to tell folks they were being unreasonable with their expectations, yet without insulting them or getting into a rather uncomfortable discussion.

If you have the co-worker who has used every excuse in the book this is the toy for you. My fellow worker bees would throw money in the pot, if the excuse making co-workers sorry excuse of the day matched the excuse ball, we would buy treats for the group. Of course we had much fun with this. Throw the sarcastic ball in the mix and we laughed until lunch.

The words are too small and the liquid inside the ball is too dark....making it too hard to read and not fun. The speedy shipping was great.

Fun ball, definitely interesting. My friends all pick it up and play with it when they come over. Love it!

The people who make these fun balls must not have an R&D department, if they did they would see how hard it is to see the letters. Very frustrating.

I'm not a fan. Some of the things that pop up don't quite make sense, and some aren't really appropriate for the office. I'm going to put this in the "garage sale" pile. Total waste.

Gave this to my son who is pretty creative with his excuses. He was amused!

The answers are so hard to read, it's just not worth the price. I didn't return it because it would have cost more to return it than it was worth.

I got this for my dad because he's always full of excuses. Now he uses it for everything even when his wife asks him to do something. It's hilarious and he really enjoys it.

Bought this for my husband for his stocking stuffer and it was hilarious. Such a great conversation piece. Had him take it to work and put it on his desk.
