4.0 out of 5 stars Wall Street Guru Ball
Guru ball is a take off of the old magic 8 ball. Gave it as a gift to a retiring financial person . Just a little disappointed with the readout in the back the mystery cube inside rolls around in a dark ink and apears in the window. The cube was a bit hard to read - maybe it had some fluis=d leak in. But it was a hit ! Good gag gift

3.0 out of 5 stars Fun idea but build quality is not up to par
I've owned several "magic" 8 balls. I work in finance so this seemed like an amusing nick-nack to keep on my desk. People always pick it up but are often disappointed when it does not produce an answer. The floating hexagon (or whatever shape it is) inside is not buoyant enough and does not always float to the surface and display a message. It's an inexpensive toy,...

It's an inexpensive toy, and you get what you pay for but I was a touch disappointed that it is often so hard to read/get a result after shaking/rotating the ball. Still - it's the only investing, or finance '8 ball' I've seen.

Got this for my son-in-law who is a financial analyst. He was very entertained, and plans to take it to work to help him make better business decisions. ;)
