I noticed the safety warning on the front of the box about the "choking hazard," and I was very careful not to put this toy in my mouth, as much as I wanted to. However what this product SHOULD warn you about is the "impaling hazard." I was playing a little too roughly with the Avenging Narwhal and drove the magical ice tusk right through my xiphoid process. I guess you get the last laugh, Avenging Narwhal.

You CANNOT go wrong with this toy. If your son or daughter have any redeeming qualities at all, you'll find them overjoyed impaling these hapless baby animals with tusks of crystal, onyx, ruby, and ice. I'm not joking when I say HOOVES ARE OUT, TUSKS ARE IN!
Don't make baby Jesus cry this Christmas. Buy an Avenging Narwhal Playset and when you die Steve Irwin will high five you.

I saw this product on various sites and thought it was fake. Then I found it here and I had to get it. It is very cool. After finding this I learned that narwhal are real animals.

Some question the value and realism behind this toy. I feel that they do not completely comprehend the history of the AVENGING NARWHAL, and his profound significance.
The AVENGING NARWHAL does not kill in vain. He is motivated by the slaughter of his family, in a heartless bloodbath, by the Penguin Cabal--supported by the all too guilty Baby Seal League. Driven by this tragedy, the AVENGING NARWHAL is compelled to pursue all the vicious enemies that might have led to the destruction of his pod. This, no doubt, includes Koalas Inc., a treacherous and ambitious corporation that moved their ill deeds to the seas when the boon of eucalyptus could no longer satisfy their greedy little fingers. Their CEO, Koala Bear, is a feature of this dynamic, chilling, and important play set.
No educational value? I would say that it tells a story of true meaning; detailing the perils of unregulated industry, organized crime, and the unforeseen consequences thereof.
I hope that you now better understand your folly, as well as the plight of the AVENGING NARWHAL.

I got this for a friend of mine for her birthday and it kicked butt! Everyone was jealous and wanted to know where I got it!! I can't wait to find more awesome toys like this.

Finally, the Narwhal gets his long overdue street creds! And those annoying, cute little critters get what they deserve! Mwua-hahaha... however- I was a little disappointed when we got it though- it looks really cheap- the paint on the figurines is sloppy looking- I guess that is all beside the point- get it.. point...

As soon as this was taken out of the packaging, one of the horns broke! We noticed wear & tear on the holes in the animals that came with as accessories. This is the kind of toy that's best if left in the packaging and admired as art.

Is it fun - teaching kids to kill?. And there's no educational value to talk about - narwhal eats fish.
I wouldn't recommend it.
