I received this as a Christmas gift and was really looking forward to having my car smell like a diner at the breakfast rush. And it did, for about 5 minutes. The scent was perfect for those 5 minutes; really just like frying bacon, not pseudo bacon. I still have it hanging in my car to ward off vegan hitchhikers, but it's too bad the scent didn't last.

I really liked the thought of this, especialy since my car has a coolant leak resulting in the heat smelling like syrup. But this smell like dog food.

Just got this in the mail. I was all excited to hang this in my truck as a funny joke to make it smell like bacon. But when I opened it and smelled it it didn't even come close to smelling like bacon. Instead, I got a whiff of terrible old cardboard. I ended up throwing it away because even though just having bacon hanging from my rear-view mirror would be okay, the old cardboard smell was really that bad.

THIS GETS THE BIG ZERO.

If you really want your car or truck to smell like bacon, get some hickory chips from a hardware store and fill up a sandwich bag. Poke a few holes in it, and then put it under your seat. BAM...works way better.

The point of the item is that it smells like bacon--except it doesn't. It doesn't have a smell at all.

A great idea! Who doesn't love bacon? It's a visual pun only, as the cardboard this "air-freshener" is printed on smells completely neutral. It is likely an old product that has gone beyond its "expiration date." Loved the price, however hated being charged overnight expediated rates for a snail-mail USPS package!

I purchased this as part of a Very Bacon Christmas present for a co-worker. As it was just a small part of the package, it was great. The picture and concept are outstanding. However, we were all greatly disappointed in the lack of bacon-y scent. Slightly smells of bacon for 10 seconds, then just smells like paper.

I wish I could give this zero stars. This "product" only had one job to do: smell like bacon. Spoiler alert: it doesn't. It smells worse than cheap wet dog food, and you can smell it from a mile away. I'm holding it hostage in plastic baggie until the smell dies so I can have bacon hanging from my mirror.

This was a big hit at Christmas for the white elephant exchange. Everyone wanted to smell it. It got a big laugh!

I bought this as a novelty present for my little brother, and to be honest, I didn't expect much from it. I expected it to make him laugh, and it did achieve that goal. However, when he opened the package to smell the "bacon", we all had to immediately plug our noses. It smelt like a sour box of dog treats. Terrible. We had to wrap the thing in two trashbags, and take out the garbage immediately. Not a good smell, people. And nothing like bacon. If you're interested in this product for a laugh, buy it. But don't unwrap it. It's meant to be seen. Not smelled.

i was incredibly pleased with my mac and cheese air freshener. i passed it around for everyone to smell and they all gaged- like they should. i got just the effect that i wanted. i got it as a joke, because in what crazy world would sombody want their car to smell like cheese? so i never expected it to smell like mac and cheese and it was a great product if you know that nobody can recreate food scents. so if you want a fresh smelling air freshener, heres a tip: obviously mac and cheese is not your best bet, or any food for that matter. this is a great product if you enjoy "gag"gifts. =D
