Such fun to have a sharpener that works. I can get knives sharpened free by the butcher at the grocery store. Nice, but not convenient. I laughed when I showed my husband how the sharpened knife (thanks to Accu Sharp) sliced the end of a tomato, using zero pressure (not denting the tomato by pressing the knife into it, not poking the tomato to get a start on the slice). "Look, it works! Can you believe it?" Whoever designed this sharpener has my gratitude--big time. How about advertising this gem.

I have a drawer full of knife sharpeners that don't work. This one goes in its own drawer as it does work. Found one at last!!!

This is perfect sharpener if you just need to get a good edge quickly on rugged tools, like those you might use for gardening or camping. You'll definitely want whetstones for finer blades, but that's not what this is designed for. And it comes in pink! :D

What an amazing lil sucker! I got a whole new knife set for Christmas last year (yay!), and I did a TON of research first. My go to source for info on such things is America's test Kitchen/Cook's Illustrated/Cook's County (if you haven't ordered a subscription yet, you're sorely missing out and wasting your time and money in the kitchen!!). Anyhoo, they test and test and test everything and can give you brand names of stuff and tell you if it's crap or not because they don't have advertising. So I picked their best knives of each type (all Victorinox, which are EXXXTREMELY reasonably priced and are FABOOSH!) and obvs I wanted a sharpener to go with. They also recommended this lil beauty and of course, I had to get pink! Wonderful product and so cheap ($$, not quality). Completely portable (ie. great for camping), produces a very sharp blade, and away you go to slice your tomato paper thin without squishing it.

Nothing lengthy here folks. This sharpener is small, convenient and does an AWESOME, FAST job of sharpening knives. I always have to warn people that the knives in the house are now sharp so therefore please be careful. No need for a wet stone, etc., etc. Lasts forever. I still have one from 7 years ago and it is going strong. Had to buy two for some friends who always want me to sharpen their knives when I come over (:
