This beautifully detailed 1/48 scale model kit features the TBF-1C/TBM-1C ("M" is the Navy designation for aircrafts produced by General Motors) Avenger flown by future President and then Lieutenant Junior Grade George H.W. Bush, perhaps the most famous Avenger pilot in history. This kit comes with 100 parts molded in gray and clear plastic, optional treaded or untreaded tires, canopy masks to ease the painting of the clear components, and decals with markings for TBM-1C Avenger White X2 of Torpedo Squadron VT-51 piloted by Lt. (jg) George H.W. Bush on Sept 2, 1944 and TBF Avenger "Plonky", 30 Squadron, RNZAF.
