I bought this tire gauge specifically to check the tire pressure of my F350 dually. The factory installed steel extenders made using pencil type gauges or other digital gauges impractical, particularly for checking the inner and outer rear tires. Even though this gauge is sold for 'dual rear wheel trucks', I had to bend the steel tube about 5 degrees so it could make solid contact with the inner tire inflation stem. Once it was bent, the gauge worked perfectly! NOTE: I had friends at a machine shop bend the steel tube for me, it was too stiff to bend by hand or in a vice. The gauge has big digits that are easy to read, even without my cheater glasses. The air release button on the handle is convienent to use - even though I first thought it was for the display. I have found it best to test the pressure, add more air than needed and then slowly release it using a combination of the button and disengaging and reengaging the gauge and testing until you get the desired tire pressure. I found that if I failed to disengage and then reengage the tire pressure gauge, it tended to give me the same reading without resetting. The guys at the garages always 'OHHHH and AHHHH' when I open the case and pull out this impressive tool. It was well worth the money and Amazon had the best price of the various sites I visited while price shopping. Oh, yea, I had to cut the plastic case a tad to allow for the bent tube to properly fit in the case so it would close.

I bought this product two years ago to check the pressure in my motorhome tires. It appeared to be a rugged, quality product which I thought would work well. Unfortunately, I was mistaken, and wish I would have never purchased it. Due to its construction, it is very hard to use on dual rear wheel tires to obtain an accurate reading. The bleed valve which I thought was a clever idea, never worked properly, and if you overfill a tire and have to release pressure, I still had to do it the old way. The gauge started leaking air where the weaved metal hose attaches to the handle, and is now useless. I would not recommend this product due to its poor design and quality.

Mediocre tire gauge that quit working after 1 year. Replaced the batteries to no effect. Will attempt to return it to this company, but from other posts, it looks like nothing will happen as they seem unresponsive.

Gauge failed after one month of use, suppect Lithum battery. Tried contacting Accutire warranty by their internet site but that was useless.

Returned gauge per printed instructions (using certified mail so I know they got it ) over one month ago and still no response to either calls or e-mail.

I got the tire gauge just in time to travel. As some of the other posts stated, the hose leaks when bent. I emailed the mfg and after no response, re-sent it with a bit stronger message...got an answer very quickly and a new hose. The only things I don't like about it is it reads upside down the way I use it (not a big problem) and the display could stay on a tad longer. This wand works better than my previous gauge due to the angle. I have to remove the wheel covers and remove an aftermarket TPMS, so maybe that is why the wand works on my Dodge. I wouldn't want to have paid more for this thing but I'm happy with it so far.

I purchased this gauge to check the pressure on our motorhome tires. This gauge does not freeze the PSI reading so you must hold the gauge in one hand while pressing the other end to the valve stem which is difficult due to the fact that the gauge has to be turned upside down to read the digital PSI and this reduces the effective length of the tube by half. The gauge is no good to me if I can't easily and accurately check my tire pressure. I have returned this product.

Purchase this unit one year ago..Looks nice, but hard to use on a RV motorhome...After one year of use the stainless steel connecting tube has developed a Leak making it unusable...Just try and find the company that made this guage to get a repair or even a refund...Accutire does not exist?

Not sure I like the bleeder.... Almost seems to sensitive even bending the hose will read .5 psi...

This is a great system for my motorhome. Accurate and easy enough to hook up. The case is a bit big but then I have to room so I've left it for now. Easy and inexpensive and it works. Nice combo IMHO.

This is one honker of a tire pressure gauge. Good long reach for my F350 dually tires from the rubber handle dual foot valve via a flexible hose to a meter with a big display. After one day's use, I don't see why the display doesn't always engage, but poking it onto the valve stem gets it going OK.

Instructions not obvious that you must remove the red strip that protects the batteries. Also not obvious how to get to the batteries, whatever they are, but I'll figure it out. I may try another reviewer's idea to bend it 5 degrees for easier access thru the access holes to the valve. Gotta use it a bit longer first.

Sure is a good gauge in any case.
