This item replaces an Accutron I'd been wearing since the mid 70's, the one with the tuning fork. It was lost. This model utilizes a quartz crystal movement and is even more accurate than my old one. I like its modest elegance; rich, but not ostentatious.

This watch is a handsome piece. The accuracy of time was adequate but not sound. after several months, I noticed the stem wheel was missing. I have no clue how or why, but chalk it up to todays lack of quality control. As I become an older adult, I continue to be amazed at the amount of junk out there.
