This must be one of the very best dutch CD ever made. And although the music is very pleasent, it are the lyrics that make this cd perfect. The lyrics are so full of clever word games, that it amuses you every time. Every dutch speaking music lover should have this CD in their collection, although I wouldn't recommend it for English speaking persons.

I would reccommend this CD to anyone who is learning Dutch and has an appreciation of good music. I find the music very appealing and the lyrics really help ypu build your language skills. The CD is worth having just for "De Stad Amsterdam", but you certainly won't be disappointed with the others!

I went to Amsterdam last year. While there, I saw one of their videos. I immediately went out to buy this disc. This has became one of my all time favorite cds and I do not understand a word of it. If you are a fan of Americana/No Depression, buy this cd.

Music by Acda en de Munnik shaped an era for me. Greaty vocals, sharp lyrics and good tunes characterize these two talents. If you want to get Holland in the 1990ties in your house, buy this album!

I received this CD from a Dutch friend and, despite the fact that my Dutch is feeble at best, I have found it to be easy on the ears. Think of Lowen and Navarro meet Hootie and the Blowfish, transported to Amsterdam in the 1990's. Voices that sound great together and that are not drowned out by the music. Even if you can't understand a word of Dutch, the quality of the music and the singing will keep you coming back for more.
