For about the first week the beans inside this video bag seemed as though they were just enough to suffice. My husband who didn't want me to buy the bag in the first place, found himself settling quite comfortably into this thing every night. But I was disappointed that it does not look like the photo. In other words, the beans inside are just enough to fill either the entire top part or the entire bottom but not the whole chair and we keep having to shake it up to redistribute. so I ended up having to buy extra bean bag refills, worth MORE than the bag itself! And just to add to my frustration once the fillers arrived, I found that the the pull on the zipper had fallen off and had to use a safety pin to open it.

I bought this chair to have someplace to sit in my room besides my desk chair. I had been sitting on floor cushions but you get tired of being so low on the ground after a while. I've only had this chair a few days and I absolutely love it! I had a bean bag chair previously that I wore out. This chair is nice as it gives you some lift from sitting straight on the ground and has nice back and even head support. You can rest your head back comfortably and still watch tv. Perfect size for me too and I'm a college student. Definitely a great buy!

When I first got this seat 6 weeks ago, it was the perfect cheap solution, as the reviews on here suggested it would be. As it began breaking in, it remained a perfect fit. It continued to break-in. It never stopped breaking in. More, more, more. Last week it had finally gotten annoying enough that I planned to post a review about it. Tonight I was reminded when, for the first time, I was actually sitting on the floor, through the bag, even after re-fluffing the squashed little pebbles that now smell like butt. Its lifespan is similar to that of a cheap pillow, at least for an adult.

I am a fit 5'10", 155 lbs adult male and after a month and some change this product is in serious need of a bean refill. I "fluffed" it regularly and sat on it for around an average of 20-25 hours a week. It is said that matter can not disappear from the physical world but I think I found an exception to that rule, how else could what was once a tightly packed bag of beans become a sagging piece of vinyl skin? It truly is as if the beans inside have vanished since there are no tears to spill the contents on to the floor. I took a chance, and I got burned, I would recommend this only to children who weigh no more than 50 lbs; though children tend to be rougher with furniture so maybe that might not even work.

It was quite comfortable when I first got it, but it just does not hold up. A little over a month is too short a time to have to refill this thing.

QUICK SUMMARY: Extremely lightweight and compact design, this beanbag chair may be just the thing for you -- if you know what to expect from it. Recommended!

Background: This beanbag chair fulfills a useful role in our home, by giving my daughter a place to more comfortably do her homework rather than just sitting on the floor stooped over her books (her preferred way of doing homework, rather than sitting at a desk or table).

WHAT I LIKE:

- Extremely lightweight, so you can very easily move it from room to room
- Compact design makes it much easier to move around and place in a room than those old, ball-like designs from the 1970s
- Can offer some back support (if you're willing to sit low to the ground)
- Zippered bottom allows you to add more styrofoam beans should you need to
- Two side pockets let you stow small, flat items
- The handle at the top makes it easy to pick up and move
- Part of the seat and back are constructed of breathable Lycra material, so you'll not feel sweaty while sitting in this chair (at least in the small of your back)
- I'm over 6' tall, and I found the chair to be reasonably comfortable for a beanbag chair

WHAT I DISLIKED:

- The zipper at the bottom doesn't have a metal tab, so the zipper won't move. I'm not sure if this is a manufacturing error or by design, but either way, I dislike that it doesn't have a metal tab to pull the zipper open or closed.

What could be BETTER:

- Like others, I think it should have come with more beans inside. You'll either choose to sit higher off the ground and little back support, or more back support and very low to the ground. Adding another cubic foot of styrofoam beans would have solved that problem.
- The side pockets, while a thoughtful idea, are too tight to be useful. If you stick, say, a remote control inside the pockets, the buttons would all get depressed and you'd put too much strain on the side pocket seams, likely causing a tear later on. They should have constructed it with a flexible, nylon netting to be more useful.

Conclusion: This is a good choice if you know what you're getting. Hopefully this review helps you know what you're getting. Recommended.

I purchased this when it was $37. I had expected this to last a good amount of time. Initially, it was very comfortable, and that's why I'm giving it two stars.

After TWO WEEKS, however, it started to compress. After about a month's time, it was no longer a comfortable chair, even after refilling it. It compressing isn't the only problem: if you lean back on it, the material will stretch over time.

Basically, this chair is good for two weeks, and nothing more. Absolutely terrible for the price; it's better to get normal $15 bean bags at Walmart. At least you won't be quite as disappointed when they compress after two weeks.

I bought this chair going off of what the picture looks like... A nice fluffy comfortable chair... Well it is OKAY, but the chair is like any other bean bag that kind of loses it's "fluffy" feeling after about a month and you have to constantly pat it back so there is back support.

You get what you pay for with this, no more and no less.

This is a great chair!! Very comfortable and well worth the low price!! I looked every where for a bean bag and found them to be uncomfortable and expensive! This is neither!! Great buy!

I ordered 2 of these seats for my boys. The black/black seat is just as described & my older son loves it!
However, the blue/blue seat does NOT have the lycra insert in it like the item description says, it is all vinyl & my boys say it is not as comfortable as the one with the lycra. If you look closer at the pictures, you can see that the blue/blue & red/red seats are all vinyl, the lycra insert is black.
So now I'm having to go to the trouble of repackaging the blue/blue chair & finding a UPS store to take it to for return & I have had to re-order another chair(this time blue/black) for my younger son who is very upset that he is not going to have a seat until the new one is delivered.
It would have saved a lot of trouble if the item description was correct because I would not have ordered the chair without the insert in the 1st place. If there is a way to reach the seller to complain about this, I'm not seeing how, but I am going to see if there is a way to contact them to let them know about this problem.

These are comfy! Bought for my kids room. Color matches the odd electric blue in their room perfectly!! Durable, yet light-weight and portable!!
