The Acecad DigiMemo 692 digitally captures and stores everything you write or draw with ink on ordinary paper, without the use of computer & special paper. The DigiMemo 692 is the world's first stand-alone notepad with a USB storage device. That means it can digitally capture and store everything you write or draw on ordinary paper without the use of a computer. Then, using Windows XP or higher, have it digitally organized and e-mailed through your computer. Also makes it easy to keep your notes and letters organized for later reference. Easy to use and connects quickly to your PC using the included USB cable. Stores up to 999 pages with the included memory, and additional memory can be purchased. Downloads picture files to almost all graphic file formats, i.e. jpeg, bitmap. Uses any size paper up to 6in X 9in. Includes wireless pen, two 14-month cell batteries and two pen refills. This product constantly has problems converting the data into a usable pdf format. It is pretty frustrating when your child is using it to turn in homework on which they have worked very hard, then not being able to do the conversion to pdf with any level of confidence. Very disappointed in this product.

this is a great device, keeps all the sticky notes and other notes from being all over my desk.. hook up to usb and load to my computer, love it

The deal was done through Amazon to a 2nd party, and they did a great job of getting it to me fast. And, it works! Probably need to buy a second pen, and the 6"x9" pad is not as easy to find at Office Depot as I thought (don't carry that size). Still I expect to use it entirely instead of a leather pad-holder.
