I rarely give feedback on the things that I buy but this time I feel like I'm forced to because this monitor is simply gorgeous. I chose the Acer AL2051W on the Viewsonic as I was real hesitant between the two and I feel glad I did.

This monitor is uniquely designed and looks so beautiful on my black desk. It's great for watching movies, playing video games or simply surfing the web. The colors look so cool on it! The text size looks very proper and the brightness is just gorgous for the viewing pleasure.

I enjoy watching movies and anime on it the most. Everything that I do on my computer has become more fun because of it. I highly recommend it :) 5 *****

Received today...Very, very nice monitor. It has the shiny screen so reflection could potentially be an issue for some people...but not in my case :) What I really like about it is that it has the DVI and enables me to fairly easy use the monitor as a KVM switch for my very complicated setup connecting to another KVM switch. Any way from what I understand, ACER is no longer making this monitor but I purchased it anyway and glad I did. 5 *****

I purchased this monitor after carefully studying specifications between this one and the Viewsonic 2025. It was a toss-up, but I really like the shiny screen so I got the Acer. NO REGRETS. It's got a beautiful picture. I do graphics and was very hesitant about using an LCD monitor for graphics. So far I just can't complain, and am recommending this monitor to friends and family.

I have had this monitor for almost 4 years now and it has been amazing to me. One of the best monitors i ever looked at. The color is amazing and the no matter what way you look at the screen the colors dont change which is really good if you are a digital artist. The only time it does change is if your on the floor looking directly up at it. I actually won this screen off EBAY for 36 dollars. Talk about being lucky.
