Excellent laptop and love the numeric keypad, you will too if your field involves a lot of calculations, it's perfect. Fast shipping and came as described. It's fast, light and hasn't frozen once! I also have a Dell XPS and I have found that the acer is more efficient and more fun to use. The camera is also very clear. A great buy and one I would recommend to anyone!

I've had mine for about a week now, and I'm really enjoying it. I have used it as a full-on laptop and I have also used it connected to my wireless keyboard/mouse and larger monitor. The screen quality is great both on the laptop screen and when I plugged in a larger desktop monitor. Windows 7 is nice and so far it runs pretty fast.

The blue color is very dark/subtle (more so than it looks in the pictures here), so if you want a really BLUE one, this might not be it, but if you're not sure you want a blue one, it looks black most of the time anyway.

I don't find the speaker quality to be very good at all. It's loud but kind of unbalanced (tinny, maybe) to my ears. It sounds great with headphones or my external speakers, though.

Built-in keyboard and mouse are fine, and I do appreciate having the number pad - can't live without that.

I'm not a gamer and I haven't done anything really intensive with this yet, but so far I'm very pleased.

This is a very good product. It has a very clean and clear screen and very easy to understand. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

I do not care for this laptop. My previous laptop was a Toshiba satellite. I wish I had gone to a store to test them out. Mistake on my part. Here are some things that I find frustrating (which do not include anything about Windows 7 frustrations).

Opening the lid. My Toshiba was easy and could be done with one hand. This one needs two hands and is a nuisance. Also, the screen does not fold all the way back so it is flat. I enjoyed this on my other laptop for various reasons.

Location of keys - WHY OH WHY is the delete key (which is used very frequently) on the top of the keyboard instead of down at the bottom. There are two NEVER used keys down at the bottom center which would be a perfect location for this. I don't like or want a number keypad, but they all seem to come with one.

I am a very fast touch typist and the keyboard is not intuitive to use. I am having frequent difficulty finding the 'home' keys. The keys on the Toshiba were a tad curved. These are all flat and not comfortable. Another big nuisance.

Power cord - the cord is an 'L' shape that hooks into the side. Poor design - often coming undone as I move the laptop from my lap to the couch. There is a loud beep to alert me to this, and that is helpful. I just am tired of hearing it so often.

Volume control - on the Toshiba this was a little wheel on the front of the laptop. I could VERY quickly adjust volume. The Acer has an icon that you click on, and then must adjust the volume level with either the touch pad or mouse.

Appearance - clean and nice color. Not much trouble with fingerprints at all. If the things that bug me don't bother you, then you might be happy with this laptop.

I believe if I had tested these out at a store, I might have noticed these things. Is this a typical keyboard. Don't know. I am going to Best Buy this week for another reason and am going to take a look - just out of interest.

Bought about three weeks ago for my wife to replace her desktop. Was a very good choice. Beautiful display. Big hard drive. Works great. Would buy again.

This is the first Acer product that I've purchased and I'm really impressed with it so far. I really like the keyboard, particularly the calculator feature. Programs run smoothly and quickly too. I would highly recommend this laptop.

This is a great laptop for those not serious about development work. The battery isn't that great, but then I am never running my laptop for greatest battery life. I need power at all times. Intel VT is disabled on the chip, preventing true x64 bit OS virtual machines to run in it. Other than that, I have no problems to announce. It's still early on for me however, since I just got the laptop about 1.5 months ago. I would recommend it to non-IT professionals. Unfortunately, I didn't buy it for its entertainment value, but I'v got no compliants so far.

I bought this laptop for my mother-in-law a few months ago and she is quite pleased with it. It isn't exactly blue but its color is very attractive nevertheless. However, it came with all of the other specifications advertised on Amazon.com. It boots up and shuts down very quickly and its performance of tasks is satisfactory. The only thing I personally don't like about it is, I find the keys are a little too stiff for typing.

I love the attractive and nice finished design of the laptop. It's performance also seems great but on bad side I think I need to mention is that its weight and thickness is a bit more than I expected.
