Acer is very good brand computer. This is my 2nd acer and i Looovvveee it! Im a mother of 4 wife and nursing student, i have to haul around enough things for the kids, while holding an 11 month old, and her things, not to mention my school books weigh as much as my 6 year old. My other laptop is an hp, touchscreen HEAVY thing, but my lil netbook packs the same power and weighs nothing and best of all it fits into my purse. Internet is faster then my cable modem at home. So no i never use our desk top i leave for the hubby and kids. My touch screen has dust on it and my netbook is my baby. I reccommend it to anyone with kids, or who are first time computer owners. It VERY user friendly... Enjoy, i know i am.

This item answered a lot of questions for me. I needed a computer that was small enough, light enough and had enough power to surf the web and watch movies if need be. I went in expecting it to be low powered and my expectations were somewhat surpassed. I love this netbook and I will probably upgrade to another when the time is right. I had problems with other notebooks from several companies but I have not had a problem with this one as of yet. I put a lot miles on it and it survives.

I bought this as part of an ATT package. When it arrived it did not work. I spent several hours on the phone with the tech only to have him tell me I would need to call back the next day. When I called the following day I was told to do a restore to factory defaults. I then installed my virus software and tried to connect to the internet. That is when I found out I have no ATT coverage. I tried several spots on my property. I have coverage on Verizon but not ATT. I contacted ATT and was instructed to return the unit. It seemed like a nice compact unit but a little slow for me.
