Works fine so far

My wife bought me this item for Christmas. I had never used a tablet before and don't have a smartphone either. It was pretty simple to do the basics. When you first turn it on it asks you to set up the WIFI connection, which wasn't a problem.
I really like the Google search function where you speak into the microphone and it returns search results.
There are some things I'm not crazy about. The speaker volume is pretty poor even at full volume, but with headphones music sounds great. This tablet comes with a lot of "bloatware" installed that you can't delete. It comes with McAfee security already installed and it came with the trial period already expired. I bought Norton Mobile which I like better and use Norton on my home PC. Only problem is I cannot figure out if there is a way to delete the McAfee app off the tablet. Nothing works. I also see little use for the camera since it is forward facing and you basically only can take photos of yourself.
Main peeve I had since I'm a beginner to tablets is that there is no detailed user manual in the box. You have to use the tablet to download the manual from the internet. Other issue I have is that there are a lot of icons on these things and no way to know what they do unless you click on them and see what happens.
Like I guess most tablets, this does not come with a case/cover. But, I found a great one here on Amazon that fits the tablet perfectly. Also recommend getting a stylus to navigate. Much easier and keeps from getting fingerprints on the screen.
I'm learning new things daily with this tablet, but it's not something I'll be glued to. Handy, but to me still a toy.
