PRAISE FOR ACES WILD!
"The green-eyed charmer was a legend, admired and feared. His reputation with women from Wyoming to Texas and every state in between was as infamous as his poker playing." J. Pearl

More About the Author

I write Sizzling Romantic Suspense. My stories are the stories of my heritage. From the residue in my personal blender of mixed races, cultures and world views, my characters emerge. It comforts me to know that while evil slinks in the shadows, the "good guys" of the world sniff it out - and snuff it out.

My stories are not your mama's soft edged romances with swashbuckling heroes and blushing heroines. Heck no! These guys are arrogant alpha males and the feisty women who bring them to their knees -and vice versa... They fight hard, love hard and don't mince words. They are dangerous men and women in dangerous times.

Love, passion and ridding the world of evil? What's not to like?

WOW doesn't begin to describe this western. The charactors are sll strong, independant individuals, straight out of western lore. The handsome alpha males make the story line pop with sexual energy. The "damsel in distress" is as fiesty as she is beautiful. Her haughty attitude says one thing, but even she won't admit what she really wants of the man she needs.
This is an adventurous wild western that is definitely not for the faint of heart. Tide this story to the end and you will be panting for the next book in the series, "Stacking The Deck."
I, for one, hope Ace's Avengers will share more exciting episodes for a long time to come!

Aces Wild had me from the beginning! I have always loved stories about the West
and the men and women who made it. Gabe is one of the wild west's alpha males
that is good even when he is bad! And Ana is one strong woman who takes nothing off
of no man. What's not to love? Their story made me continue to turn the pages, even
when I should have been asleep! The writing was really good. If I closed my eyes,
I could imagine being in a smoke-filled room, sitting around a poker table, drinking
liquor and holding the winning hand in a poker game. It was that good. I cannot
wait for Gunnar's story. Hurry please!

From the second Gabe aka Angel catches Ana (who he calls Princess and darling and baby) spying on him during an "intimate encounter," sparks fly between them. He's a dominant, sexually experienced man to her innocent youth, yet when they get their happy HEA, "it goes without saying" (according to him) that she's going to be the only woman for him. That's really what cemented Gabe as a hero in my mind. I loved seeing the wild adventures these two took to come together. Taylor Lee definitely writes a hot compelling story with great characters!

It appears I'm one of few who won't be reading this author again. There are just too many good sizzling western romances out there to spend time reading this nonsense. I knew I was going to have problems with the story when Gabe got turned on by Ana's fear of him. He was a jerk with a fixation on spanking. Add the 'f' word sprinkled throughout unnecessarily and the awful job at editing and I stopped reading.
I love a good historical western with hot, steamy scenes but this one just didn't fill the bill.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I must admit I downloaded this book some time ago and with the cover picture and talk about poker I almost didn't read it. I know nothing about playing cards and didn't think it would be a book I could relate to but after re-reading the description and some of the reviews I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. ***spoilers***From about half-way through the book I knew the aunt was involved. It was obvious there was no love there. I think the story flowed nicely. Ana's feeling were believable because I could see myself reacting the same way in certain circumstances like being angry for his treatment of her and it being difficult to get over his reputation. I think the only thing that would have made this book better would be seeing Molly get kicked to the curb. I couldn't see myself having someone in my home that had relations with my husband even if they weren't together at the time and the maid made it obvious his attentions would be welcomed again. I'm anxious to find out what happens to the rest of the avengers. I will definetly look forward to more from this author.

Gabriel McKenna is an ex-US Marshall who, as leader of Angel's Avengers, now works for whoever can afford his exorbitant fee. Keep in mind that Angels Avengers includes two other alphas that deserve their own books. But that's not all--Gabe is also an ace poker player, and saloon owners love to have him around because he attracts so much business. He's both respected and feared.

Bring on Ana Li, daughter of wealthy Chinese businessman and ranch owner, Chao Li. Gabe's called because Chao's being threatened so visits the ranch, and upon the first meeting, you just know you're in for a great love story. Ana's in danger and isn't the easiest woman to protect. Gabe's concentration isn't always at its best when he's around her.

Aces Wild has everything--romance, adventure, intrigue, and some hot sex. If you like alpha heroes, you'll love Gabriel McKenna, aka Ace Angel.

You can't go wrong with a Taylor Lee book. I'm looking forward to reading more books in the Angel's Avengers series, because surely Eagle's and Gunnar's stories will be coming soon. I can't wait!

Another good adventure from this author! Some editing errors. The gramdmasters legacy stories seemed to be better constructed but have enjoyed everything by this author and am waiting for more!
