This is a great karaoke machine and not hard to hook up at all. I haven't tried the recording feature yet, but I find it amazing that it will record your performance at all for the price. I look forward to our next family gathering to see what the whole group thinks of it. The remote is very easy to use and the instructions are so detailed I think it will be an easy machine to master. The sound quality is very good and the effects you can add are nice also. We plan to hook it up to our professional sound system soon, but to start with I just connected it to our tv which isn't even surround sound and the quality is really good...so I expect it will really be great through the sound system. I read a lot of reviews before I purchased this machine and I really feel that I got great value for the money.

I've owned a lot of karaoke machines but for the money I don't see how you could beat this one. I was going to buy a VOCOPRO Duet machine until I used one at a friends house. Pretty junky.

The product arrived promptly and does what I hoped it would do. I'm finally able to convert my CDG karaoke disks to MP3+G format and load them onto my computer. I've been wanting to run karaoke from my laptop and now am able to do so. The previous problem is that no laptop I ever owned had the proper CD drive to interpret the graphics subcodes on CDG disks so all I used to end up with was an MP3 music file at best. I could never get the graphics file until I started using the Acesonic DGX-210. Another feature that I like is that I'm able to store a customized set of songs on a jumpstick memory and just play from the Acesonic unit when I have a TV to display the graphics.
