A review re-done. The Walkabouts rock on this one., October 2, 2011

Wrote a nice little review for this album awhile ago(they wouldn't take it). If you like The Walkabouts, get "Acetylene" (2005. Good stuff from Chris and Carla. They rock out on this one, kind of like their mid 90's releases without the violin. Key tracks: The first song (words to live by), "Whisper", "Coming Up For Air", "Kalashikov", "Northsea Train", The title track and the 9:00 epic "The Last Ones". Their new album "Travels In Dustland" comes out Oct. 21st. I just wish American radio would play this kind of music, instead of force feeding us what the teens want to hear all the time.
