A Book I'll Use for The Rest of My Life,
By Jennifer Barthe (Boston, MA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Achievement Factors; candid Interviews with some of the Most Successful People of Our Time (Hardcover)
I first discovered this book when I was 25 and have not been able to put it down since. I loved reading how famous successful people such as Charles Schultz, Mary Kay Ash, and Jack Lemmon discovered their strengths.
In the beginning I was impressed and moved by these stories of success, but I was not able to make immediate progress right away. My problem was that I thought I needed super human strength in order to apply the suggestions offered. I didn't realize I'd have to dedicate years of hard work, focus, and planning in order to see results. Now four years later, I'm using the book with a greater degree of ease. I've taken the time and energy to learn how implement the success tactics. If you're willing to dedicate a few years to making mistakes and trying out new approaches to solving your problems, then this book is for you. |
