There has been very little progress in closing the Black/White achievement gap in education. The author of this book is a very brilliant man. I was fortunate enough to have him as my physics teacher. I picked up the book initially out of respect of my former professor and see what he had to say on the subject. As a teacher at an inner city high school, I found myself sharing what I read in this book with other teachers and administrators.
