Not so much about coaching...,

This review is from: Achieving Excellence in Your Coaching Practice: How to Run a Highly Successful Coaching Business (Essential Coaching Skills and Knowledge) (Hardcover)
I've got this book hoping that I can get some coaching specific advice for running my coaching practice. I was disappointed to see that actually only three chapters are clearly specific to coaching and that the rest of the information presented (how to manage your work space, your promotion activities, your accounting challenges, etc.) can be found in many other (and better) books about self employment an and running your own business.
The book seems like it has many parts writen by people outside the coaching profession and noone cared enough to make them much more specific to coaches... Also note that some information is UK specific, like Chapter 9 ("Other financial matters"). |
