I just received my bird bath today. I ordered two of them from this same company. The Koi fish one is so pretty! Done in shades of greens, yellow and orange. The stake that holds the bird bath is sturdy and heavy weight and not at all flimsy. The bowl is very well made and ceramic and also heavy weight. Shipping was fast and they were both very well packaged. I am really happy with my purchase!

the prime draw of this birdbath is its lovely lush colors. happily, they're every bit as rich & vibrant as in the picture. it's thick, sturdy ceramic that should hold up very well over the years (that is, if i can remember to bring it inside in freezing weather). it screws down onto an included 2-pronged garden stake that is completely adequate to hold it sturdily upright. the ceramic bowl is textured, not smooth, so those waves on the edges provide a little grip for the birds to hold onto while drinking/splashing in here.

it is pretty shallow - only a couple inches in the center at most, so it will need frequent cleaning/filling. cleaning is this birdbath's major downside: because there's no tip/tilt mechanism, and because it's securely screwed onto the stake, you have to splash enough water into the bowl to remove all the old water, or else blast with the hose.
