Okay, I'm not English, so half of the references these guys make in their songs are totally lost on me. But it doesn't matter! Their music is that rare combination of highly amusing yet incredibly catchy songwriting that only a few are able to accomplish -- early Jonathan Richman and Butterscott spring to mind.

Don't get me wrong -- these are not novelty songs. They're actually deeply satirical, biting songs that also have awesome tunes to back them up. And it's one of those great CD's that has at least 5 great songs on it. It brings me back to some early punk records that have a real driving energy throughout the whole thing.

I gather these guys have been around for years. But I just discovered them now. And my life is 2% better because of them.
