The case is sturdy & sleek. Love the pattern on it - enough to make it interesting, yet suble enough for the office. Also comes with a strap which is perfect; I dont have to lug around (yet) another bag just for my laptop. I was a little disapointed at first as the case is a little larger than my 13' MacBook. However, this has been a blessing in disguise as it allows me to keep some paperwork or notes in there as well.

This is my first laptop sleeve and it's beautiful and really sleek... fits my new Toshiba T135-S1310 13.3" perfectly (with even a tiny bit of room to fit a couple of papers). The wet white antik pattern is unique and something that no-one else is going to have when you are out and about with it. You'll definitely be the snazziest one on the plane, train or in Starbucks. Also, it has a great shoulder strap you can attach. I own an Acme Made "Slim," their original laptop bag, which I've had for over three years and still love. Everything they make looks fantastic, is top-notch quality, sturdy but not overpowering and will protect your laptop well. I have experienced that firsthand, since I travel back and forth from CA to NJ several times a year with my laptop (a whopping 15.6") and it has always taken good care of it.

This is a great laptop sleeve that is perfect for protecting your laptop from bumps but has the extra bonus of having straps so you can carry it like a laptop bag. It's only a sleeve, so it doesn't have any inner pockets for papers, pens, etc. It's a cool vinyl print on the outside that is resistant (so far) to tears and easily wipes clean. The inside is a tough neoprene type material that pads the bag well without being bulky or heavy. Works perfectly for my daughters Macbook!

This is a very cute, stylish bag that fits my MacBook Pro perfectly, and protects it well. However, it could do with a pocket or two to make it fully functional. When I use this with the shoulder strap as a laptop bag, I also have to carry a handbag for keys, wallet, transit pass, pens, flash drive etc., not to mention that carrying an AC adapter inside the bag would damage the aluminum on my laptop, which kind of defeats the whole purpose.

My first thought upon ordering this was "great! Now I can carry my laptop in a cute bag that doesn't LOOK like a laptop bag... this one doesn't scream "steal me! There's an expensive piece of machinery in here!" as I'm running around on the subways and streets of New York City. But if I'm also carrying an additional handbag, I'm pretty well busted. Adding a flap or pocket--even on the inside--would not really spoil the design; as it stands, this bag is form over function. Hopefully the next version of this product will take this into consideration.

I got this sleeve for my wife's 13" Macbook. We already had another sleeve, but the design of this one along with the shoulder strap made it look much nicer. As soon as she saw it in person, her words were: "cute cute cute!"

The good:
* VERY well-padded, much thicker than any other sleeve we have tried
* Nice soft interior (compared to other sleeves that use the same material inside and out)
* Shoulder strap is nice to have, and it can be adjusted to be REALLY long or really short. Plus, it is detachable, so you only use it when you want it. Very pleased with this flexibility.
* Shoulder strap connections are all metal, not plastic
* Fits 13" Macbook with a tiny bit of room to spare at the top. Not that important, but if you wanted to carry an iPhone/iPod sync cable you could.

Notes about the design:
* The black & white pattern is on the front only. The back is plain black.
* The front is actually shiny, which adds to the fancy appearance
* The interior is a dark purple, making the overall design very elegant.

I do not have anything bad to say about this laptop sleeve. I am very impressed with both the design and construction, and my wife is already looking for an excuse to take the laptop down to a coffee shop to show it off. I would recommend this product to anyone who often carries a laptop without the need for bulky power cords, etc.

There are two reasons for using a sleeve instead of a full computer bag with all of your accessories.

1) To take your laptop with you to school or to an event where you will be using only your computer (and no accessories or power cord)
2) To take your computer on a plane without having to take it out of the bag.

This lovely sleeve is wonderful for the first purpose - a quick and easy (not to mention stylish) way to carry your laptop. I love the fact that it is waterproof and well padded. Be sure that you order the correct size for your computer, since these are designed to be form-fitting, and the dimensions given are the outside dimensions, not the size computer that will fit into the bag.

If you don't remember the "official" size of your computer, like a television set, it measures diagonally, across the screen, not across the actual laptop.

The removable carrying strap should make this perfect for carrying this onto an airplane, however, one very small glitch makes this particular sleeve NOT TSA approved. On the front of the bag, Acme has put their brand onto the sleeve using a square metal fastener. In order to be TSA approved, there must be NOTHING that obscures their view of the computer. The small metal square disqualifies this otherwise perfect bag from being TSA compliant.

But still, it is a handy, nice-looking computer sleeve!

This bag looks stylish with its wet embossed design. The style is definitely a little feminine though it's black. It has a patent leather look on one side and nylon on the other side and adequate padding making it pretty sturdy. The solid nylon strap gives an option to carry it on it's own like a shoulder bag and suitcase style dual pull zipper makes it easy to open and close. It fits a 13 inch Mac book. I tried to squeeze in my 14 inch HP laptop. It fit but it was a tight squeeze and I could barely close the zipper. With a MacBook you have a tight fit but no more space to carry anything else.

Although this is a nice looking bag it is not useful for me for a few reasons.
- Too stiff to carry in backpack, adds too much bulk and weight to backpack. Plus the backpacks already come padded so I don't need too much padding, I prefer the neoprene sleeves for their lightness and flexibility and overall thinness. This made my backpack too heavy and I did not really need so much padding.
- Shoulder strap is nice but adds unnecessary bulk if you just want to carry it in your backpack. If you carry it like a shoulder bag then you need to carry a whole other bag with the stuff you need in addition as this leaves no place for a power-cord, wireless laptop mouse etc. If I am to use it as a shoulder bag, I'd much rather have one with a few pockets or additional space to avoid carrying 2 bags.
- Some bags with similar stiffness allow you to open them up more than halfway so you can use them as a base for your laptop without having to pull it out completely, so you can quickly close it up back again especially at airports etc. This bag does not allow that as the zipper goes only halfway.

So I will keep using my neoprene sleeve.

Upon opening the package, I was surprised by how well-made this laptop sleeve was. It felt sturdy and high-quality, and the pocket was a snug but comfortable fit for my Sharp M4000 notebook with a 13.3" widescreen. Unfortunately the AC adapter will have to be carried separately, but my M4000 routinely gives me over 5 hours of use with wi-fi on and screen set to mid-high brightness, so for short trips to my local B&N or McD's, this sleeve protects confident protection -- and it looks good.

A shoulder strap is included, and this particular item fits laptops with 13" widescreens.

This is a well made and attractive case. Very functional and useful to have when you are a student constantly tossing your laptop into a backpack full of other things, to keep your laptop in pristine condition. Highly recommended!
