May be too small for your 10.1" netbook and the easily scratched design may not be pretty for long., June 4, 2010
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
For those making a purchasing decision about this bag based on the listed dimensions, be advised: Listed dimensions are inaccurate and do not reflect internal volume. This bag is supposed to "fit most netbooks" but does not fit my 10.1" Samsung N120 (actual netbook measures right around 10.5") even though the advertised 11.8" should have been large enough. (OK, I could likely squeeze my computer into this bag at the risk of causing scratches or button damage.) If you have a 10.1 inch screen you need to measure the case of your computer before you buy this bag. The interior compartment measures about 10" long making it a great fit for the smaller netbook species. In fact, the height of the bag is closer to 8.5" rather than the 11" listed on the detail page. My daughter's Acer (just a smidgen over 10") fits it in very well, with a little room to spare at the top. This is just a sleeve and is not designed to carry charging cords or peripherals. The sides and bottom are fairly well padded for light duty but not built for rugged handling. If you smash the bag, you will likely damage your computer. The hardware is metal and the buckles are mounted on swivels making the adjustable shoulder strap very functional and fairly comfortable. The design on the front is exactly as pictured with the centered antique scroll work. This is not a fabric but a "wet" looking high gloss overlay that is one-sided. This glossy design overlay scratches easily and shows smudges and fingerprints but is easy to wipe off. The back of the bag has no design. The bag should be fairly weather resistant but will not protect your gear if submerged. I've handled a lot of different computer bags in the past year and this one does a decent job and should hold up well under normal conditions. All-in-all I like the bag and I think it's an OK deal so long as it is priced modestly. I like the simple slim lines and unapologetic "girlie" design. There are lots of other options in the higher price ranges that may provide better protection and look better over time. Notes: At the time of this review, the product offering page lists the dimensions as: 11 x 1.8 x 11.8 inches. Actual external measurements are closer to 11 x 1.5 x 8.25 inches though if you squish the bag completely flat you may get close to the advertised numbers. Made in China and imported via a California distributor.

Cute, durable little bag - great for iPad, July 13, 2010
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
First of all as a disclaimer, I didn't actually use this bag for a NetBook. What I used it for was to carry my iPad all around Japan for 6 weeks. The iPad, with the Apple cover on it, fit perfectly in this bag. If I didn't mind it bulging, I could also fit a notebook or my iPod and earphones. I took this with me every time I traveled around and it was banged around quite a bit without any harm to the contents (accidental banging and nothing too hard). I was very glad this case is water resistant as I was traveling during the rainy season and it rained several times a week. No water ever made it into the interior of the bag. I had several people compliment me on the design of the bag and although another reviewer mention that it scratched easily, I haven't noticed any scratching. I like the thick strap, which makes it comfortable to wear and it is easy to adjust. So why did I only give it 4 stars? It wasn't out of any real compliant with the bag, it was because it didn't have any pockets. I am sure it is designed this way to make it as small as possible, and since it is really only designed to hold a computer and nothing else, it makes sense not to have extra pockets. But it still would have been nice and handy to have something to put my plugs or pencils in. All in all, I think it is a great bag for a low price. I would certainly recommend it.

Fits Eee Pc Like a Glove; No room for power cord; Perfect for iPad!, January 27, 2011
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
I love my ASUS Eee PC. It goes everywhere with me, and I use it all the time due to its portability and small size. In fact I'm writing this review on it now. This laptop sleeve fits the netbook like a glove, making it easy to sling over your shoulder with the included straps. The sleeve protects the computer from dings and pads any small falls; but that's about it. Despite my netbooks pretty good battery life (5.5 hours down from 10 hours after 2 years of use), I find that it is a necessary evil to take my power cord with me. The laptop sleeve does not accomodate the cord (or anything else for that matter), and to me that makes its use very limited for me. I recommend the Brenthaven Switch Satchel for Netbooks instead, which, for not much more size than this sleeve, allows you to carry along your cord and much more in a very compact and portable case. UPDATE: While I do not use this case for my netbook, I have found that it is perfect for the iPad. I keep my iPad in a Joby Gorillamobile Ori for iPad Multipositional Protective Lightweight Aluminum Case Silver and then slip the iPad and case into the Acme Netbook Sleeve for travel. It is perfect for this purpose.
