I was introduced to Kalai when he played at a small venue in Spokane, WA. I was blown away. This guy is so talented I couldn't believe I had never heard of him. I bought the CD Acoustacism and I listen to it all the time. It's a rare occasion that I enjoy EVERY song on a CD and I have to hand it to Kalai, every song is a gem. Don't miss this one.

I love all of Kalai's albums. He is an amazing musician and I'm always listening to his CD's everywhere I go. Acoustacism is a CD everyone should own. Love it. Every song is perfect and rarely do you see that anymore on albums.

A drop or two of Jackson Browne, A couple shots of Ben Harper, A splish, splash of James Taylor, A lovin' spoonful of blues mixed into one disc that rocks. A definite must have in your music collection. Kalai is destined to be a star if he hasn't already reached that status...

I can listen to this cd over and over, it's mellow and calming and fun. If you're thinking about buying this cd, listen to track 2, "On My Mind," and you will be hooked.

Fresh music and amazing talent. This guy has got everything and you'll love his stuff. An incredible live performer and great songwriter. Kalai offers a great breath of fresh air with all this unoriginal mainstreem stuff out there.

If you've never heard Kalai before (and you probably haven't), you're in for a treat. Although not well known, he's a great musician, composer & performer. Think of a blend of Cat Stevens, James Taylor and John Mayer and you start to get an idea of what to expect from Kalai's folksie ballads and interesting guitar work. Enjoy!

I've been a huge Jack Johnson fan since the beginning, and I'm always trying to find new artists that give off that same kind of "Live Easy" vibe. Well Kalai isn't trying to be Jack Johnson, but you still get that same happy feeling that you get with all of Johnson's stuff. This is the perfect soundtrack to a lazy day on a beach, or a good country road trip. If you wanna know how good it gets, listen to "On My Mind," one of my favorite songs ever.

After hearing only one song by this artist I bought this CD based on its reviews only and I wasn't disappointed. It has been a while since I have been so excited about an artist. I would recommend it for anyone who enjoys a unique sound blend of acoustics, blues, jazzy reggae, rock and folk. Kalai is someone to pay attention to and to anticipate. I look forward to hearing more from him in the future.
