This is a great sounding little amp. The cabinet is rattle free and the 15" woofer woofer delivers punchy, tight sounding bass.

This amp has ample power for rehearsals and would be great for small venue gigs.

Very affordable and delivers the
Goods. This amp is loud enough to play unmicd in smaller clubs/bars. It has an adjustable notch filter, four eq pots (low, low mid, high mid and high), gain and an overdrive channel (!), which all allow you to tailor your perfect tone. Has direct outs and standard outs that let you add cabs/use the unit as a head. Also has switchable active/passive input pad. All and all good for the beginner, weekend warrior, or more. The distortion is ok, though I don't really use it. It has a nice voice for bass. It's not in your face it allows the bass to come through unmuddied. Single 15 gives old school thump, but not a lot of highs on tap (no tweeter). However, with the gain knob and the dual mid control, you can still get a good slap and pop tone.

I haven't owned a REAL bass amp for about 30 years, and that was also an Acoustic. I was actually planning on buying the B35, which sounds great, but I caught this on sale from the same supplier for just $20 more, so I went for it. I don't need this much power, but how do you say no to an upgrade like that? The sound is deep and clean, or bright and brassy, or crunchy with distortion. I haven't played it much, but I think I got a GREAT deal on an amp that would be good for at least mid-size clubs. With an XLR line-out (pre- or post-EQ), effects loop, tone shaping 4-band EQ, mini-jacks for headphone out or iPod input, and 100 watts through a 15" speaker, this set-up is highly recommended... and all for $200! Update: Sorry, folks, but I see this is now back up to $300 from the seller. Still, I'd say it's worth it. It's just that good.
