Everyone who can get their voice recorded seems to make Christmas albums and they are not very memorable. That's why, I suppose, they end up in the bargain bins. But this album is different. MMM takes the Christmas classics and treats them with a simplicity and reverence that helps us imagine what Christmas was like before Hallmark and Madison Avenue started tweaking with it. The presentation of some of these carols may make you feel like you're hearing them for the first time. Put this on the short list of Chrismas albums you want to own.

A simple and pure version of favorite carols. Listening to acoustic music is a style all its own. Michael Murphey, with help from his children on some cuts, creates beautiful music. You'll love it!

michael has taken songs we've heard thru the years and brought a simplicity and reverence that is often overlooked. Christ the Savior is born! This nis an album that helps us remember the true meaming of Christmas.
