This book is a very useful tool for the researcher, composer, theorist or any interested seriously in the sound, presenting key concepts in a clear, pedagogic way.This books also includes the 'Handbook for acoustic ecology' CD-ROM, a hypertextual encyclopedia on almost ANYTHING that has to do with sound, aural perception, acousmatic, psychoacoustics, et cetera with plenty of sound examples and graphics.
