I've been playing guitar for more than 30 years. I've mostly taught myself by playing "by ear". It is very easy for me to listen to a song and play it almost immediately. I cannot read music but can read guitar tablature, although very slowly. It is much easier for me to play a song by ear than to read tab. That said, I saw this book and the price was reasonable so I thought that it would be a good way to learn all of these songs quickly without having to take the time to listen to them. However, the tab and chords are not easy to read for someone with my limited music reading capability. I thought that it would be written simpler with simple chord charts but it is not. If you can't read music or tab, I don't recommend this book. It is for those who are proficent in reading music. It would be good for someone who reads music and plays another instrument but wants to learn guitar as well.
