As a long time guitar player, I was surprised that something like this for acoustic guitars was not available sooner. I subscribe to Acoustic Guitar, and their tips have been very valuable, since acoustic guitars are far more fragile than the extensively discussed electric guitars. I guess the increasing "unplugged" movement has finally given the acoustic the due it desearves to the younger musicians, and old dogs like me needed to know too. A valuable investment for anyone with an acoustic, especially one of quality.

A good book with a lot of useful information. I wanted it for use in tying classical strings and minor repairs. If your relatively new to this type of stuff, you will find this a valuable reference.

I bought this book for my musically inclined 14 year old son. He started taking guitar lessons 6 months ago and is interested in learning everything he can about acoustic guitars. He's not a big reader, but he's reading this book with interest.

I'm still reading it, but it clearly gives you nice info on how to understand the physics and take care of your acoustic guitar.

Good book if you looking for basic set up and maintenance. Doesn't go into a lot of detail for the more advanced tasks but it's not intended to. Good advice on basic set up, truss rod adjustment, tuner maintenance, etc,

This is an easy to read and navigate book on acoustic guitars. However, I was hoping to get a little more on the changing of strings. Also, there does seem to be definitive information, rather opinions. However, it is useful and will remain in my growing collection.
