I guess maybe a true collector with plenty of disposable income could buy this. However, I found the digital download available via Christian Kane's website. Much cheaper. Sure, no CD, no jacket/packet. But what's really important here is the music. Soulful, melodic, and well written. Fabulous artist(s)! I have never been a "country music fan" really... know a few songs here and there, usually whatever I pick up from my sister or someone else's radio station, or maybe a movie. The new EP available from Christian Kane, however, made me an instant fan of his brand of country music. It's definitely country, but most songs have a good rock twist on them. The EP is available in MP3 downloads here on good ol' Amazon. I highly suggest it for anyone wanting 5 good--no, great!--songs for under $4.00! Then maybe $199 would be worth it...? NAH! I'm a new fan of the band Kane and of Christian Kane in particular. His music is perhaps best described as country rock. He's also multi-talented. He played bad guy Lindsay McDonald on the series Angel for 5 series and now plays Eliot Spencer on the series Leverage. He has done a number of movies. His voice is incredible. He has an amazing rapport with the audience and you can tell by the way he sings. His voice is sometimes sexy, sometimes raw but always compelling. He and Steve Carlson write most of his music. Once you've heard him either live or on CD you will never forget that voice. And once you've seen him on stage you will certainly never forget those sexy eyes and that raw animal magnetism he exudes so well. Christian Kane is the whole package. He draws you into his music with compelling lyrics and his very own brand of country rock. This CD is well worth having. This is another hit in my book! He's absolutely wonderful with this album. His music is beautiful and in this album you have a better chance of hearing his singing and his guitar playing. It's superb!! I'm already excited to hear what comes out next! I hope I have the honor of one day meeting him he's very talented and he's the best country singer I've ever heard. Also very good on leverage and angel series.

This is a great CD if you're a fan of Christian Kane and Steve Carlson. It's a great CD if you like rockin' country, and well written lyrics with a singer with the heart behind those lyrics. Most of the songs were written by Christian and/or Steve, and you can tell they have passion for their music. Christian has a wonderfully intense, yet melodic voice and the comments and stories they tell between each song just add to the experience. Steve plays one of his songs (Piñata Novia) and you can't help but love his rough, penetrating voice. This song is what first got me listening to all of Steve's other CDs!

Although currently there's only 1 available for $350, which is ridiculous, TourHut does sell the digital download. Well worth it! If you can't get this CD, also check out Christian and Steve's other CDs... Two I highly recommend:

Thought this was a great buy! Love Christian's music and have been looking for this CD for a reasonable price for a long time. Great mix of blues, country & rock. It's done in a storyteller fashion so you also get background on the songs from Christian and his friend Steve. Acoustic music has a great personal quality to it that you don't get from studio recorded songs.
