Product Description

The Acoustic Research AP-043N Performance Series converts one mini stereo male output to two RCA male outputs. Connectors are gold-plated, oxygen-free and corrosion-resistant. Also features 100% overlapped mylar foil shielding for protection from noise and interference, and added flexibility for heavy duty strain relief.

Like the previous comment says, this Y link's connectors wont stick which is why I gave it 4 stars.

Please note if your connecting to other cable:
At first I could not make this cable work (No audio) as I connected it with what I believed was the AP031 cable (it said this on the bill), I later found out that I had been sent the identical AP030 cable by mistake which the AP043 Y cable does not work with. Acoustic Research was nice enough to send me the correct cable even though I had bought it from a reseller. Just be aware of this and save yourself a month of trouble.

I just got these, and guess what! The RCA parts are too short and/or thin to make a good tight connection to most RCA cables. Don't expect your cables to stay attached once you put them on! I tried various different types of cables to attach to this Y adapter --- including some made by Acoustic Research, and pretty much all of them fell off once I let go of the setup. With a little gaffer's tape and a lot of luck maybe I could make these work, but out of the box they're pretty useless.

The female RCA contacts fitted VERY loosely when connected to an RCA cable. It just fell right out when I tried to make a connection. I've tried it with several different RCA cables to make sure and they were all super loose!
