The HC6 5.1 speaker set put out some detailed sound and tight bass that can get low. The speakers are enclosed in a piano black casing and seem like they belong in a similarly elegant home (or mansion for that matter). The sub puts out some surprisingly powerful and low bass for its size. The system sounds just as good with music as it does with home theatre sound. The HC6 was produced when Acoustic Research was in its prime, unfortunately this set is no longer produced. If you can get yout hands on a set, you'll see that the HC6 blows away Bose and Polk systems costing twice as much.
