It's perfect attachment product to maintain the great sound quality with use with the BOSE Wave CD/radio.
Just note, I needed to purchase for $6.99 additional cable, as the cable's included did not have the correct
"end" to attach to BOSE Wave CD/player.

If you have an iPod and an Acoustic Wave.......you need this. A line-out to Aux from the headphone jack is simply not good enough....not enough line level for volume. A little pricey, but it's Bose. Get it.

I recently bought this product and am very pleased. I had gone to the Bose Factory Store prepared to buy the docking station at a minimum of $250. To purchase this for $99 plus tax was a sizable savings and gives me increased usage of my Wave and the same great sound! It is very easy to add on and the Bose technincian also suggested that I buy a surge protector of at least 1000 joules which I will pick up today. Thanks David Schneider for your help!

I got this dock to attach to the Bose lifestyle V30 home theater. The dock is simple to connect but here are the issues that I think prompted me to consider only 2 stars.

1. The remote does not have the "enter" button which clicks the center button of your ipod. In order to rate the song or fast forward.

2. The remote supplied in the home theater doesnt work for this dock using the customized setup available in the home theater. So you have to keep this additional remote which is badly designed ergonomically. (not easy to hold and no backlit etc.)

3. Considering all interconnections that bose implements in their systems (known as the proprietery "bose link") this one has a traditional audio out and a separate power cable. Which is kind of good and bad at the same time since there are two wires hanging out of it all the time.

I decided to return this unit and got one from creative which performs flawlessly and has all features including "enter" function on the remote and a video output. The best thing is that it cost one fourth of the Bose price. In my opnion, though bose speakers may excel in performance, the other accessories and attachments are not as great value for money.

You can check this out or similar product to play your ipod through the home theater or any other systems.
