I had read about Acqua Di Parma online, and I started investigating it a bit.
There aren't too many places around that carry it, so when I found it online,I was
excited to order it and try it out.
From the descriptions of it, I wasn't too sure what to expect, 'notes of citrus' etc.
What I found when I actually tried the cologne was something very unexpected. It's a very
clean scent, almost soap-like and I couldn't stop myself from smelling it and trying to figure out the
different scent layers.
What I discovered was that the longer I spent with the cologne, the more I liked it
and frankly, now I use it as the gold standard when trying other scents. For years I've looked
for a signature scent, something that would just be me and I think I've found it.
Light, fresh and clean.

I got this cologne as a present for my husband since he loves it and I do too. Buying perfumes or cologne when you are married should be something that is done as a couple since you BOTH are going to smell it all day long.
That said, I highly recommend it. Being a cologne it is not strong as many perfumes, but it lasts for a while with a nice smell. It is "citrusy" but not like having a lime stuck under your nose and I associate it with Summer, happy moments and it reminds him of the time he lived in Italy.
Also, it was VERY hard to find since it's made in Italy and apparently few people carry it in the US.
I hope this helps!
Gloria

I just received this and it's fake - Sold by America's Beauty Supply, fulfilled by Amazon . Not sure about the earlier reviewers but either there is a mix of fake and real being sold by this supplier, or the previous reviewers have not owned the real thing (as there is no mistaking the cheap perfume packaged and sold as Acqua Di Parma here). No free lunch, the low price should have been a warning. Terrible that Amazon does not sufficiently vet sellers of items like this that are easily faked.

there are many perfume that claim to evoke fantasies and memories of special places and times. Although beautifully packaged and advertised, the scents fall flat and their popualrity makes them less interesting. Acqua di Parma, on the other hand emits an extremely elegant and soft fragrance, which unmistakingly refklects the ornage and citrus groves of the Italian Mediterranean coast. If I were to conjure an image of this cologne, which I use an an almost daily basis, it is of the fresh nights at the end of summer in Positano. The cologne is made form an old formula and has been around for many years. It is a classic purported to have been a favorite of that icon of elegance and class Gianni Agnelli. Unlike similar fragrances by Creed (Millesime Imperiale for instance) and Hermes, Acwua di Parma is even more exclusive and costs half the price. Econimc considerations aside, this cologne needs no price comparisons. It's a classic in its own right and befuts men of taste, and genuine class - the kind that speaks of character, perosnality and elegance of behavior not wealth. Picture someone like Gregory Peck in Roman Holiday, or Marcello Mastroianni or Colin Firth wearing such a cologne. that's the kind of man it will appeal to.

I have been wearing this for years; I had read about it being an old fragrance and that was reissued several years ago. It is a unisex fragrance and has a light, citrusy scent thats not overpowering. Its not something I wear everyday, but when I am going out or what a little pick me up. The packaging is simple and classic as is the bottle design. I love it!

The best cologne I've ever worn. Expensive, smells that way, and worth every penny. You're not going to find anybody wearing it either. Very exclusive. When asked, it's "something I picked up in Italy"

I read about Acqua Di Parma Colonia cologne/perfume when i was reading a website about Hollywood stars and their scents. As this product is a unisex cologne and was used by Audrey Hepburn and David Niven and is now also a favorite of Sandra Bullock. It has wonderful deep citrus scents and changes on the body after time. Its the chameleon of the scent world. A timeless classic. I own it and love it

EXCELLENT light fragrance which last ALL DAY.

Remember, everyone's body chemistry is unique, so this fragrance will smell differently on me than it does on you. I first purchased this fragrance 10 years ago on a British Airways flight on a whim, and have worn it pretty much ever since. The spray on this bottle is VERY FINE. Keep in mind you only need about 2 sprays AT THE MOST to give you all day coverage. If you don't know if this fragrance is for you or not, just buy a sample here...

Try it, and if you don't like it, you're only out a few bucks.

Aqua Di Parma is also a unisex fragrance. So it smells good the fairer sex also.

I would most assuredly recommend this fragrance to anyone who wishes a classy scent.

Light citrus scent is very refreshing especially where I live in the tropics. The cologne is long-lasting and very appealing and pleasant. Thankfully not too sweet or fruity with just the right hand of spice. They have other versions that are more concentrated but this is perfect. I am starting to try some of their other products including the shampoo and body lotion which are very high quality.

I purchased this for my wife's birthday. It's a lovely fragrance, and attractively packaged. It arrived promptly and safely packed.
