Top notes are black currant, plum, mandarin orange, cassia, peach, pear, bergamot and lemon; middle notes are tuberose, orange blossom, jasmine, heliotrope, lily-of-the-valley and rose; base notes are amber, tonka bean, patchouli, musk, vanilla, cedar and benzoin.

I had actually purchased another scent by another maker, but the girl at the counter had given me a few sample vials of this Acqua di Gioia. I got home, loving the original scent purchased and later that evening I thought I'd try on the di Gioia. I WAS IMMEDIATELY SMITTEN!!! I couldn't smell it long enough, I had to have it. The next day, I went back to the department store and returned my orginal scent for this and LOVE it!!! I have a collection of scents and usually NEVER wear a scent two days in a row but now I have. I wish they made a shower gel & body spray to go with the parfum and lotion but perhaps in time they will. I love LOVE LOVE this scent!! It takes me away to a peaceful place, I'm transported to my own private island where it's only me basking in the sunshine. I love it. The notes are so exotic, so full and lush. It is NOT very sweet even with the floral notes dancing around the cedar and lemon and mint. You will NOT smell like a frozen adult beverage I assure you, but you will find yourself transported to your own private island with the biggest smile. I love it and am now addicted. :o)

I really hate having a ton of perfumes sitting on my shelves, perhaps I'm one of the few women who are like that, but I'm always out searching for a bottle perfume that I can wear to work, school, parties, and just anything. This perfume totally fit in my category of my low-maintenance lifestyle. I can use this perfume for work, school, parties, and anywhere and everywhere. It is very clean and refreshing refreshing but still strong enough to last for hours! I highly recommend this item.
